Sorry I haven’t posted here in almost a year! I really wanted to keep up with this blog and just haven’t followed through on that. I could give you a bunch of excuses why but that’s not why I’m here.

I’ve decided I want to try making video essays and will be shifting my focus to that. My plan is to keep this blog up and hopefully still use it to post my writing but I don’t think I’ll be posting many more long-form pieces here at least for the time being. I am trying to get back to writing fiction so maybe I’ll post some of that here when I’m ready.

Honestly, I’m really excited about this. I’ve never made videos like this but I love watching video essays and I have some ideas I’ve started working on and one that I’m about to start filming. I have no clue how long it will take me to film it, pull the clips I need for it, and edit it, but I finished the script and I feel energized.

This first video is going to be about my issues with the Skip Intro and Autoplay Next Episode features on streaming platforms and how that effects the viewing experience. I’ll post here when it’s up.
